We are an Interior Design and Space Planning firm established in 1982 by Beverly J. Thomes. Contract Environments, Inc. is certified as a women’s business enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third-party certifier of the businesses owned and operated by women in the U.S. CEI is also certified in the state of Delaware by the Woman/Minority Owned Business Enterprise.

We believe that it is not the space available, but the creative and efficient use of that space, that creates a successful design. Our goal is to tailor the interior space by utilizing our expertise to assist the client in selecting appropriate design solutions to reflect their image and budget.

We are also a Member Organization of USGBC because we understand that our resources are valuable and sustainability is important to everyone. Our staff includes LEED Green Associates and staff who are practiced in sustainable design both with and without the inclusion of LEED Building accreditation.
